We spray painted the vehicles, the lorry is signwritten and the van has spray applied graphics.
Signwritten in oil paints.
A mixture of techniques here including; signwriting, airbrush work and self adhesives. Oil paint on a standard 2pack vehicle finish. Oil paints can easily be removed with the appropriate solvent. Self adhesives offer no advantage when it comes to removing graphics when you want to resell the vehicle.
We designed and produced presentation folders for this company (see brochures in the Brochures section or click this link) and while we were at it created this visual of a Hippo Campo delivery truck. This design was superimposed on a photo of their original brown and beige livery without having to go to the expense of actually spraying and resigning an actual vehicle.
This lettering is sprayed on and will never come off under any circumstances.
Vehicles are ideally suited for the cost saving opportunities that self adhesive lettering can offer, however many customers prefer the look and versatility of signwriting, as did this customer.
The signwriter can produce many effects that elude self adhesive lettering, or can only be achieved at great expense which can only be justified if you're producing 5 or 6 or more.
